Yvonne is available for in person sessions Monday and virtual or phone appointments Wednesday afternoons and Friday evenings.. 


Yvonne is a dedicated and compassionate therapist intern that specializes in community-focused, recovery oriented care, providing culturally sensitive and trauma-informed support to people navigating the complexities of life. Yvonne’s approach to therapy integrates music, mindfulness, and the arts, allowing you to explore your identity and discover who you are in this moment. Together, we can work to regain hope and optimism, even in the face of significant challenges.


Through 15 years of experience as a Crisis Worker, Yvonne has experience addressing a diverse range of issues, including stress management, coping with chronic mental and physical illnesses, grief and loss, addictions, the impacts of institutionalization, immigration, culture shock, and loneliness. Their practice is particularly attuned to accessible and affirming care, recognizing and honoring the unique experiences within the disabled and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.

 

As a queer individual who lives with a disability, Yvonne is deeply committed to fostering a safe and affirming environment, where we can journey together toward a more fulfilling future. By focusing on your strengths and potential, Yvonne aims to help you see new possibilities for personal growth and change. 


Ultimately, Yvonne’s goal is to provide holistic care that considers all of your many unique parts - mental, physical, and spiritual. Yvonne aims to support you on your journey, ensuring you feel validated and empowered every step of the way.
