Ren Klassen

Therapist Intern

Ren is available to see in-person clients in London on Fridays. She is available for phone and online sessions by appointment.

Ren is a compassionate psychotherapist who empowers clients to develop resilience and self-awareness in the face of life's challenges. She enjoys working with a diverse range of individuals, navigating challenges like anxiety, depression, life transitions, interpersonal relationships, and trauma. Sessions are tailored to the specific needs of each client.

Ren works to create a welcoming and safe space where clients can be themselves without fear of judgment. She favours a Narrative Therapeutic approach, helping clients explore their stories, emotions, and life experiences. Our stories have formed us, but they don’t have to control us.

Until recently, Ren was the pastor of a Community Church, and is trained in the language of faith. If the client desires, she is open to incorporating the client's faith and faith practices into the therapeutic experience.

Ren is currently enrolled at Knox College in the Master of Psychospiritual Studies program. She is married with two adult children.

For fun, Ren loves to read; she is rarely out of reach of a book. She is a hobby potter. She particularly loves to play on the potter’s wheel, making beautiful things out of mounds of muddy clay. She also loves extreme weather, particularly storms of any kind.
