Candace Boodoo

Therapist Intern

Candace seeks to foster a compassionate, culturally sensitive, and non-judgemental therapeutic space where individuals feel safe to explore their experiences, emotions, spirituality, and personal stories. She supports individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief, loss, trauma, burnout, life transitions, and spiritual concerns. 


Candace has experience providing spiritual care within multicultural hospital settings, supporting patients, families, and staff through illness, recovery, uncertainty, dying, and bereavement. Her work is grounded in person-centred, trauma-informed, psychospiritual, and strengths-based care. She integrates mindfulness, emotional awareness, somatic reflection, and narrative exploration while honouring each client’s unique identity, values, and lived experience. 


Candace completed a BA and MDiv at Tyndale University and is currently completing a Master of Psychospiritual Studies in Spiritual Care & Psychotherapy at Knox College. She is passionate about holistic care, meaningful connection, and supporting individuals from diverse cultural and faith backgrounds.
