Anastasia Watson

Therapist Intern

Anastasia sees clients in person on Tuesdays and

virtually, via video or phone by appointment.

Anastasia offers a warm, non-judgemental and grounding therapeutic environment, supporting people living with complicated grief connected to chronic-health conditions, unexpected major life transitions, anxiety, PTSD and depression.

Anastasia has experience providing spiritual care to patients on complex-care, major brain-injury and palliative hospital wards within Sinai Health System, with an additional background supporting individuals and families through the process of birth, death and pregnancy loss.

Working from a strengths-based, narrative and attachment-informed perspective, her intention is to provide therapeutic support wherein clients feel fully seen, supported, affirmed and heard. Believing in the power of art, story and the body as central to one's identity and supportive to healing, she holds her clients' life stories with utmost care and respect. Her therapeutic approach draws upon Narrative Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, evidence-based and trauma-informed practices and the core principles of Attachment Therapy.

Currently completing her Master of Psychospiritual Studies at Emmanuel College, Anastasia is happy to explore faith and spirituality within sessions at a client’s request.

For fun, she enjoys trying new crochet stitches, learning Spanish, and spending time outdoors soaking in nature’s beauty, in the company of animals who are wild and free.
