Nadine Hiemstra (she/her)

Nadine is a Family Resource Coordinator with Participation House Support Services (PHSS) – Medical and Complex Care in Community in London Ontario. She grew up in London and moved to Waterloo to study Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Waterloo. Over the past 6 years she has worked in Kitchener-Waterloo and London, Ontario to support and advocate for individuals with disabilities and their families. She is passionate about supporting vulnerable people to access community and experience true belonging and citizenship.
Nadine is an active member of the London community, and has volunteered with small, family focused non-profits such as Family Network Thames Valley. Nadine is excited to be joining the Community Counselling Centre of London (CCCL) as Board Administrator to be able to contribute to the meaningful work of CCCL in the community.
