Nadine Hiemstra (she/her)

Nadine is the Family and Community Supports Manager at PHSS – Medical and Complex Care in Community, based in London, Ontario. She brings a strong background in conflict resolution, having studied Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Waterloo and worked in the field both locally and internationally.

Since 2014, Nadine has been committed to supporting and advocating for people with disabilities and their families in the Kitchener-Waterloo and London areas. She is passionate about helping vulnerable individuals experience true belonging and full citizenship - values that led her to become involved with CCL.

Nadine is also a dedicated community volunteer. She has contributed to several grassroots, family-focused organizations, including Family Network Thames Valley. She joined CCL in 2020 as Board Administrator and was appointed Board Chair in 2023. Nadine believes inclusive communities are built through collaboration and celebration of the unique contributions of all community members.
