Bruce Dow (he/they)

Director-at-Large

After 38 years as an award-winning actor, director, and theatre educator, Bruce shifted focus during the pandemic to study Intercultural Psychotherapy and Multi-Faith Psychospiritual Therapy at Knox College, University of Toronto. Following his clinical internship with Community Counselling London, he established a private practice as a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO) and Registered Counselling Therapist (NSCCT), working toward Certification in Psychospiritual Therapy through the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care/Association canadienne de soins spirituels (CASC/ACSS).

In a conscious commitment to Truth and Reconciliation, Bruce serves First Nations and Inuit clients through the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) program. He continues to engage creative communities through the Association of Acting Coaches and Educators (AACE) and offers workshops with organizations including STAPLES Canada, The Presbyterian Church in Canada, Fanshawe College,

and Dalhousie University.

Bruce joined the Board on October 15, 2025.
